This game was made during a local game jam at the University of Bayreuth. The game design was developed according to the game jam’s theme “dissonance”. On his way out of a house the main character Tire must find a key to leave through the garage door. To get to the key Tire must travel between two worlds representing a good and a evil version of the environment. Switching worlds is triggered by touching harmful obstacles or gathering patches. Our team choosed to implement a ludo-audiovisual dissonance by forcing the player to progress through the game by taking damage on purpose. Since the healthpoints of Tire represented by patches are limited, the players have to think about switching worlds carefully to complete the game.
During the project I worked as the lead programmer and was responsible for the project setup and management. You can view the source code on my GitHub page.
